Spring 2018 Haute Couture: Celia Kritharioti’s Flower Children

There was a hint of the ‘60s on Celia Kritharioti’s catwalk with an army of sexy flower children in thigh-high embroidered boots and figure hugging mini-dresses strutting down the runway.

The sexy, yet romantic Spring 2018 couture collection was full of flower appliques and whimsical feathers, highlighting the craftsmanship of the couture house’s Athens atelier.

The designer created a series of short and sparkling cocktail dresses, some embroidered with semi-precious stones, all matched with embellished ankle boots, but the collection also offered romantic gowns with A-line skirts just above the ankle. Kritharioti played with transparencies using fine lace and silk tulles while using a palette of whites and soft pastels.
