Rami Al Ali’s Spring/Summer 2023 couture collection draws inspiration from one of the Greek mythology’s oldest fables, the Golden Fleece, to narrate a sartorial tale.  

Striking sculptural shapes are fused with flowing lines and immaculate workmanship, emphasizing the distinguished design codes of the fashion house. Modernity and femininity take center stage, whilst majestic draping and refined detailing recreate the splendor of ancient Greek architecture.

Rich materials and decadent details form the foundation of the collection, elevated by the dexterity and artisanship of its atelier. Signature couture techniques are evolved, demonstrating the designer’s commitment to consistently recalibrating the boundaries of possibility. Delicate fabrics are artfully draped to mimic a column-like effect, whilst silk organza is layered to build structural volume with soft, fluid shapes.  Sumptuous satins, mousseline and brocade come together with whimsical tulle and organza to create a canvas for embellished detailing. Intricate, bejeweled embroidery motifs, handwoven with the finest gold and silver threads, lend a dazzling effect, whilst gold embossing, feathers and beading further elevate each creation into a mythical masterpiece.

The designer plays with the softest shades of sky blue, mist green, lavender, champagne beige and blush pink, alongside scintillating silvers and golds.
