The French couturier credited Brasil for the inspiration behind his 2023 Spring-Summer Collection from the generous roundness of Oscar Niemeyer’s architecture to the lush Amazon forest and the sound of sensual Bossa Nova.
Of note: Column like dresses in white gazar showed reminiscences from the Alborada de Brasilia palace and the Sambadrome dresses, all leg revealing; Brazilian stones embellished the body in bunches to break the minimalism of the dresses; Totem dresses in jersey or coffee brown crepe embroidered with carved symbols or cutout in mirrors; a caped-jumpsuit in golden Brocard, a long chasuble dress in metallic knit embroidered with crystal, a fur jacket made of metal and a dress in platinum crepe embroidered with amethysts…
