Georges Chakra found inspiration in Art Deco using geometric patterns, bold lines and lavish embellishments in his Spring/Summer 2024 collection to echo the artistic movement.
The Lebanese designer used a mix of crisp crepes, supple satins, laser cut organza, iridescent sequins and mousseline de soie, draped effortlessly. The decadent used of fabrics served as a canvas for the silhouettes with sleek column gowns, structured floor-length coats and voluminous sculptural pieces.
Radiant notes of gold and silver resonate alongside a palette of coll-toned pastels, frosted blue, carnation, rose and lilac. The constant presence of carmine, throughout the collection was a cohesive force making a bold statement.
